since you last heard from me, dear reader, i ran 10k and marched for women's lives. i got a "pike's peek 10k" t-shirt and a "we are tomorrow's abortion providers -- medical students for choice" sign. more importantly, i got inspired by both. by the first, to train for long distance running. by the second, to solidify my decision to go to medical school. hopefully my commitment will keep me going through the dark days of chemistry, physics, and bio that lie ahead. and the medical school, and the residency that lie beyond that. and the anti-choice harassment and possible persecution that lie beyond that.

it just gets better and better doesn't it?
